Vanessa Leduc joined the Paquette & Associates Lawyers team in September 2018 as a paralegal in the litigation and commercial departments.
Her role is mainly to assist lawyers in various legal proceedings, in both litigation and corporate law. She performs correspondence, preparation and filing of proceedings at the Court, the management of the attorneys Court agendas as well as the preparation of various booklets (exhibits, authorities, closing). She also prepares the required documents for the incorporation of corporations, the articles of amendments, the purchase of shares, mergers, dissolutions and the reorganization of companies. Furthermore, Vanessa is carrying out researches in various registers (Register of personal and movable real rights, Land registry, Superintendent of bankruptcy, etc.).
In addition, she is responsible for corporate minute book maintenance and the filing of the required annual reports before the Registraire des entreprises du Québec and Corporations Canada, as well as the drafting of related documents. She is also Commissioner of Oaths.
